Had a nice relaxing day, listening to music...relaxing that is until about 7pm when I was terribly sick. Bet you all wanted to know that.

Today was took up with cancelling Satellite subscription, TV license, council tax, phone bill etc.. And paying up to mid January.

I am not tired in the slightest so I have selected Blu rays to watch until the morning. I can't sleep...help.

  1. I know exactly what you mean. MS affects (as proven by my own experience and others, like you) - Orexin A or Orexin B, one regulating the wakeful system the other, sleep. There are new medications for this. They help a lot of people; but they don´t always respond to my brain the way they were designed. I tell my neurologist this, and they think I am wrong. But after/before diagnosis of Primary Progressive MS. Sometimes I am not tired but I find that my motivation and my desire to do X or Y isn´t there.

    Good luck to ya, champ!

PS At60, I started smoking marijuana. They have a specific type for sleep and it really helps you go through all your cycles of sleep. I believe it's called indica. I have never been a proponent of medical marijuana or recreational marijuana. That it helps with sleep, neuropathy, pain, Focus, staying awake and or falling asleep. I was even able to stop my blood pressure medicine because somehow the use of medical marijuana lowered my blood pressure and it has remained low. And being from a state that is a proponent of medical marijuana I have really found its benefits. Because my other option for pain medicine is morphine sulfate and it's something I just cannot tolerate. It's only a thought my friend:-)
